Cavaccini WINS Wappinger Town Supervisor post

Congratulations to RCK Alum Joseph Cavaccini who was elected Supervisor of the Town of Wappinger!
Joey Cavaccini ('17), Dutchess County Legislator and Wappinger Town Historian, was selected by an overwhelming majority of the Town of Wappinger Republican Committee as the candiate for Town Supervisor in the 2023 election.
Cavaccini, who also serves as a legislative aide to the town of Pawling, was elected to the county's 15th district in 2019. He started his public service career at the age of 12 in 2012 when he was appointed to his position within the Office of Town Historian for the Town of Wappinger. This appointment made him the youngest person to be appointed to a post within a municipal historian's office in New York State, as well as the youngest official to serve in a public capacity in the State.
