Welcome back Juniors to RCK!

I hope your summer was full of rest, fun, and unforgettable memories with family and friends. As we ​start a new school year, let’s take a moment to reflect on everything you accomplished last year. You continued to grow academically, added more Regents exams to your record, and deepened your connections here at RCK. You’re no longer finding your footing, you know this building, these hallways, and this community as your own.
Now, as you step into junior year, it’s time to raise the bar. This is the year academics get more demanding, the year colleges and career paths start coming into focus, and the year your choices really start to shape what comes next. If you haven’t already gotten involved in our extracurriculars, there’s no better time. Leadership opportunities open up for juniors, and stepping into them now will serve you well as you head into senior year.
Remember, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Whether I’m holding you accountable or cheering you on, my goal is to help you become the best version of yourself. Junior year is often the toughest, but it’s also where I get to watch you really come into your own.
Think of junior year as the moment you find your stride. You’ve got the foundation, now it’s about building momentum, taking on challenges with confidence, and starting to picture the future you’re working toward. As always, don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help. I look forward to creating more memories with you that we’ll all look back on when you graduate!
Welcome back to our Families and Community for another year at RCK! As your child steps into junior year, expect more academic demands and important conversations about the future. Stay closely connected, check in on their coursework, ask about their goals, and celebrate the wins along the way. Please reach out to your student’s counselor, teachers, or our team anytime. We’re truly a team, and your involvement makes all the difference.
A warm welcome to our RCK family, our Faculty and Staff! I hope your summer gave you time to rest and recharge. Our returning juniors walk in this fall ready for us to meet them at a higher level, and you all play a huge role in that. Thank you for everything you pour into this school and our students.

¡Bienvenidos de vuelta, estudiantes de tercer año (juniors), a RCK!

Espero que su verano haya sido lleno de descanso, diversión y recuerdos inolvidables junto a su familia y amigos. Al comenzar un nuevo año escolar, tomemos un momento para reflexionar sobre todo lo que lograron el año pasado. Continuaron creciendo académicamente, sumaron más exámenes Regents a su historial y fortalecieron sus conexiones aquí en RCK. Ya no están encontrando su camino, conocen este edificio, estos pasillos y esta comunidad como un segundo hogar.

Ahora, al iniciar el tercer año, es momento de subir el nivel. Este es el año en que los estudios se vuelven más exigentes, el año en que las universidades y las carreras profesionales comienzan a tomar forma, y el año en que sus decisiones realmente empiezan a definir lo que viene después. Si aún no se han involucrado en nuestras actividades extracurriculares, no hay mejor momento que ahora. Se abren oportunidades de liderazgo para los estudiantes de tercer año, y aprovecharlas ahora les servirá mucho al llegar a su último año.

Recuerden, estoy aquí para apoyarlos en cada paso del camino. Ya sea haciéndolos responsables o alentándolos, mi meta es ayudarlos a convertirse en la mejor versión de sí mismos. El tercer año suele ser el más difícil, pero también es donde tengo el privilegio de verlos encontrar su propio camino.

Piensen en el tercer año como el momento en que encuentran su ritmo. Ya tienen las bases, ahora se trata de construir impulso, enfrentar los retos con confianza y comenzar a imaginar el futuro por el que están trabajando. Como siempre, no duden en buscarme si tienen preguntas o necesitan ayuda. ¡Espero seguir creando recuerdos con ustedes que todos recordaremos cuando se gradúen!

¡Bienvenidos a otro año en RCK a nuestra familia y la comunidad! Al comenzar el tercer año de su hijo/a, esperen mayores exigencias académicas y conversaciones importantes sobre el futuro. Manténganse cerca: pregunten sobre sus materias, sus metas, y celebren cada logro. No duden en comunicarse con el consejero, los maestros o nuestro equipo cuando lo necesiten. Somos un verdadero equipo, y su participación hace toda la diferencia.
