Dear RCK Families,

I hope that you are enjoying a restful and peaceful summer as well as spending time with family and friends. It is with great honor that I introduce myself as the Interim Principal for Roy C. Ketcham High School. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the students, families, community and staff of the Wappingers Central School District, a community that has meant so much to me and my family.

I have been proud to call the Wappingers community home for many years. All five of my children graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School, giving my family a strong connection to the district. Having experienced this district as both a parent and educator, I have a deep appreciation for the outstanding opportunities and strong sense of community that make RCK such a special place.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to serve students and educators in a variety of leadership roles, most recently as principal of Blue Mountain Middle School, and acting high school principal and assistant principal of Hendrick Hudson High School in the Hendrick Hudson School District. Prior to that, I spent nearly a decade as an assistant principal at both Roy C. Ketcham and John Jay High schools.   My work has focused on supporting student success, fostering a positive school culture, strengthening instruction, and building meaningful partnerships with staff and families.

As I begin this role, I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside our talented faculty and staff while getting to know our students and families. Together, we will continue to provide every student with a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where they can thrive.

Thank you for welcoming me back to Roy C. Ketcham High School. I am excited for the upcoming school year and look forward to working with your students.
